Ambitious people like you, my blog reader, are highly energetic. They try to deliver, and can deliver, even when having a bad day. But working too fast also requires thinking too fast. This can be a problem. It is difficult to think ‘laterally’, to look at alternatives, when jumping to conclusions quickly to get something done. It is also quite easy to commit a blunder in this ‘turbo mode’.
This just happened today to me. I was trying to make an old software work on my laptop and everything failed despite all efforts. I had to give up after trying frantically for 4 hours and getting tired. Tried again after couple of hours and the issue was resolved in minutes.
So think and act slowly for better success results. (note to self)
